Officer's dirk to the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders. Back of scabbard throat with WM Anderson & Sons Ltd Military Outfitters Edinburgh Glasgow. Plain bright blade. Bonnet and swords on bog handle. Matching knife and fork ensuite. Wood baluster grip carved with basketweave set with studs and with crossed swords and bonnet at the back. Mounts embossed and chased with thistles, in original wood-lined black patent leather scabbard with mounts embossed and chased with thistles and lilies, the top mount locket with Camerons crest and Edward VII Crown. Edward VII was King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and Emperor of India from 22 January 1901 until his death in 1910.

    • 1897 - 2nd Battalion raised
    • 1961 - Queen's Own Highlanders (Seaforth and Camerons), upon amalgamation with the Seaforth Highlanders (Ross-shire Buffs, The Duke of Albany's). Offically abbreviated 'QO HLDRS'
    • 1994 -1st Battalion, Highlanders (Seaforth, Gordons and Camerons), upon amalgamation with the Gordon Highlanders
    • 2006 - The Highlanders, 4th Battalion, The Royal Regiment of Scotland, also know as 4 SCOTS
